This beautiful guitar is an excellent example of Fischer's meticulous craftsmanship. It is very bright and complex with tremendous projection and character. Minor playwear on the top, which features clear tap plates on the treble and bass sides.

About Paul Fischer
Beginning his instrument making career in 1956, Paul Fischer has remained true to his art and is now perhaps the most famous British living classical guitar maker. Prior to his opening his own workshop, Paul Fischer was the head guitar maker in the Rubio workshop, producing some of the finest guitars under the Rubio label.

As the classical guitar has joined the mainstream in the second half of the 20th century, he has been one of the figures in the vanguard and at the cutting edge of the evolution of the modern concert guitar. In furtherance of his interest in developing the modern classical guitar, in the mid 80's, he was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship and a Southern Arts research bursary.  His instruments have been featured in many publications including the best selling book ‘The Complete Guitarist’ by Richard Chapman, and "The Classical Guitar" (Balafon 1997) (Dorling Kindersley 1993)
