HILL GUITAR CO is restructuring - and getting better. For the past three years we have been building up our guitar making facility in Felton (near Santa Cruz, CA.) and quietly producing a few new models of concert guitars to compliment our very successful MASTER SERIES, which has been made in our Mexico shop for over 6 years. Now we are consolidating the two shops in California, enabling us to produce higher quality and greater consistency while keeping the best possible prices for truly fine, concert quality, handmade guitars.

Being located in California keeps us close to the best materials, in a fine climate, excellent distribution, and complete supervision of every element of production. Being centrally located we can offer the best customer service to our dealers. It gives us access to a steady stream of artists who can enjoy the guitars, give us feedback, and spread the word.

What could be better?

We have been making our newest models in the California shop, with an enthusiastic response from many of you. Now the conversion is complete, and we are making all HILL GUITARS under one roof here in California.

One of our greatest strengths has been offering a range of really fine guitars at affordable prices. Our strategy is to continue to provide the best instruments at a variety of attractive price points. Higher production costs here in the US require us to adjust our pricing. We want to be able to keep the prices as affordable as possible, with quality ranging from "excellent" to "world class."

We are also working on producing a new line of student guitars expected around September of 2003, but we'll wait until that is ready to talk about it.

New models available now include:

• Miguel Rodriguez Model (list $3,500)
• Antonio de Torres Model (list $3,500)
• Classic Crossover with narrow neck and cutaway (list $4000)
• Signature Model with "double top" sound board and other advanced features (list $6,000 & up)

All of these instruments come standard with Indian rosewood, optional with Brazilian rosewood or other exotic woods.

Many of our existing models in the MASTER SERIES will be available either in stock or on a custom basis, and the pricing and distribution will continue to be geared to the wholesale-for-resale market, and priced accordingly.
