For lack of a better idea, I’m calling these guitars Golden Era. My first built classical guitar was completed in 1976 — 50 years ago — in a shop very much like the one I’m working in now. I‘ve worked around the world, and I've returned to my roots.

Hill Guitar Company will exhibit at the annual Jerry Snyder GuitarFest in San Jose, California. Happening this weekend at Evergreen High School, South Bay Guitar Society presents the annual event to build classical guitar community. Luthiers, performers, audiences, students, and exhibitors will gather for two days and enjoy a full program that offers concerts, masterclasses, a youth guitar competition and opportunities to meet with guitar makers.
