Welcoming Fall with Kenny Hill LIVE in Pacific Grove
An evening with Kenny Hill LIVE in concert this Saturday, September 23rd, presented by Carmel Guitar Society & Pacific Grove Art Center. Enjoy an evening of original compositions on classical guitar by the master luthier. This is where artistry meets craftsmanship. Show starts 7 PM, doors open 6:30 PM; tickets available in advance or at the door.
https://paraskasinot.com comes to mind reading this, since the pairing of live classical guitar with the whole luthier-meets-performer idea is exactly the kind of thing I'd want to know about before deciding on a Saturday night out. The detail about Kenny Hill playing his own original compositions is what caught me, because hearing a builder perform on instruments he made adds a layer you don't get from a typical recital. I've always found that smaller venue concerts like this one at the Pacific Grove Art Center tend to feel more intimate than the bigger halls, and 7 PM with doors at 6:30 is an easy schedule to work around.
